Chanel nos sorprende una vez más con su colección Primavera-Verano 2021, iniciando con un preview completmente memorando al cine fránces. Creó la ya conocida expectación que rodea a cada colección de la casa.

Chanel sorprised us one more time with them new Spring-Summer 2021 collection, starting with a preview inspired on the French cinema.

It created the already familiar expectation that surrounds every collection in the house.

Toda la colección está inspirada en Hollywood y las musas del cine francés. Virgine Viard directora creativa de la marca remarcó la importancia de no caer en "copias vintage" o recurrir a modelos de archivo para esta colección, por lo cual propone colores brillantes, texturas diferentes y contrastantes con la imagen clásica de Chanel. Sin embargo, la inspiración del los años 20's hasta la época actual están presentes.

Un ejemplo claro son las piezas cubiertas con plumas que bailan al caminar y las t-shirts con colores neón en donde se lee el nombre de la marca, logrando piezas divertidas.

The entire collection is inspired by Hollywood and the muses of French cinema. Virgine Viard, creative director of the brand, pointed out the importance of not falling into "vintage copies" or resorting to archival models for this collection, for which she proposes bright colors, different textures and contrasting with the classic image of Chanel. However, the inspiration from the 20's to the present time are present.

A clear example are the pieces covered with feathers that dance when walking and the t-shirts with neon colors where the name of the brand is read, achieving fun pieces.

La colección está compuesta de múltiples piezas tal es el caso de vestidos largos sueltos en colores básicos, trajes en tweed con pantalones cortos, pantalones de lentejuela, jeans de colores llamativos, y mis piezas favoritas; las ya mencionadas t-shirts negras con letras neón.

The collection is made up of multiple pieces such as loose long dresses in basic colors, tweed suits with shorts, sequin trousers, bright colored jeans, and my favorite pieces; the aforementioned black t-shirts with neon letters.
